First is the lightning

EZEKIEL 33
2 Son of man, speak to your people and say to
them, If
I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man
from among them, and make him their watchman, 3 and if
he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows the trumpet and warns
the people, 4 then if anyone who hears the sound of the
trumpet does not take warning, and the sword comes and takes him away,
his blood shall be upon his own head. 5 He heard the
sound of the trumpet and did not take warning; his blood shall be upon
himself. But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life.
6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does
not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword
comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his
iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand.
God's Word tells us that we are on the brink of:
Mark 13:19-20
19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the
beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither
shall be.
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should
be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath
shortened the days.

The desolator is soon to occupy the "sanctuary" and the
locust-scorpions in the forms of educators, clergy, politicians,
physicians, press pundits, talking heads, financial "experts" and
sundry other demoniacs are injecting their venom into a lobotomized
public.(cf. Rev. chp 9)
EPHESIANS 6
10 For the rest, my brothers, be made powerful
in the
Lord and in the might of His strength. 11 Put on all
the armor of God, for you to be able to stand against the wiles of the
Devil, 12 because we are not wrestling against flesh
and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against
the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual
powers of evil in the heavenlies. 13 Because of this,
take up all of the armor of God that you may be able to resist in the
evil day, and having worked out all things, to stand.
